Friday Night Cheering
It is cheering season again! Well, for us, it starts in October with practices every week. It’s not until late February and early March do the girls get to show off the results of their hard work. Last weekend Lamoine cheered at the Sumner Peewee/Jr. High Showcase and won the Spirit Award.

Girl Scout Cookies!
Amelia and our Brownie/Daisy Troop #1008 are selling Girl Scout cookies. Wouldn’t you like some? She’s taking orders through this month and has set a lofty selling goal for herself. The money she makes will help our brand new troop buy supplies, participate in girl scouting activities and most importantly do projects that will help others.
Don’t eat sweets or don’t like cookies? Buy a package or two and the Girl Scouts will donate them to the military, meals-on-wheels or a local food bank. Amelia can earn a special badge if she sells 10 or more cookie share packages!
For those who are away – we’ll have a website set up soon where you can order and have them shipped and Amelia will get credit for the sale. Please stay tuned for that!
